There are many countries in the world that are easily recognised by a plant that symbolizes their geographical area. There emblems are sometimes determined  by public voting or opinion or even by government officials. A nation's plant is sometimes referred to as a floral emblem of that country. Australia

The national flower of australia is golden wattle or as per the scientific name acacia pycnantha. It is also a known fact that each territory within australia has their own floral emblem. But, that doesn't mean that the country's emblem as a whole is not given any significance, on the contrary the national flower is quite cherished by the australian public.

France


The national emblem for the country of france is the iris or fleur de lis, which means lily flower. This flower has a deep meaning to the people of france and signifies hope, wisdom, faith and admiration.

Officially, the japanese government has never determined a national flower for their country. The cherry blossom is popularly considered as their national flower due to its significance in the japanese culture, with chrysanthemum flower used by the japanese imperial family as their official seal and it also represents friendship.

China

China too officially doesn’t have a national floral emblem. However the country of china is quite often seen depicted by the peony, the chrysanthemum, the plum blossom or the sunflower. Each of these flowers have a different meaning and representation in the chinese culture. The peony represents a happy marriage, life and healing. Chrysanthemum represents true friend. Plum blossom is the representation of a long life and beauty. Sunflower depicts devotion.

India


Lotus is the national flower of india. It is considered to be a sacred flower and holds a unique position in the art and mythology of ancient india and has been seen as an auspicious symbol of indian culture since time immemorial.

United kingdom

The united kingdom consists of four countries which include england, wales, northern ireland, and scotland, each has their own national floral emblem. Tudor rose is the national emblem of england. Daffodil is the national floral symbol of whales, which represents unrequited love. Northern ireland and scotland are represented by orange lily and the scottish bluebell respectively.
